The Grand Prize consists of one (1) $25,000 prize towards an upgrade to your BBQ Oasis. This will be delivered via a cheque to the winner. The value of the Grand Prize is $25,000 CAD
There is one (1) $25,000 (Canadian $) Grand Prize available to be won. This Grand Prize will be selected via a Sweepstakes Draw from all eligible entries. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn on August 18, 2026.
The Grand Prize draw will take place on August 18, 2026. After entry validation, the official winner will be contacted after that date. Please allow for up to 6-8 weeks for delivery of the Grand Prize.
On the entry page you will be required to supply the proper information, along with a copy of your receipt showing participating product purchase or an essay for no purchase option. If you have been selected as a POTENTIAL winner of a prize, you are not considered an official winner until your Receipt (or Essay for Mail-In entry) has been validated and verified and you have returned your signed and completed declaration that includes answering a mathematical skill-testing question.
On the entry page you will be required to provide your first and last name, mailing address with postal code, e-mail address, and telephone number. You will also need to provide a photo or scan of a single receipt, clearly showing the participating store name, the date and time of transaction, and at least the one (1) participating product (outlined in the full rules and regs section) that has been purchased during the contest period. Your receipt MUST have one of the participating products on that receipt – products of a different size or configuration than those listed in the rules are not valid.
No-purchase entry: To obtain an Entry without making a purchase, simply visit the entry page, follow the procedure mentioned above (omitting the picture of the purchase receipt) and draft, in the box provided for this purpose, an original composition of at least a hundred (100) words explaining, what you love about Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, or P’Tit Québec Cheese products.
For the Grand Prize draw, entrants (if selected) are identified as a POTENTIAL winner. If you are identified as a POTENTIAL winner that means your entry must be validated prior to being declared an official winner. The first step in that process is validating the receipt or essay submitted for entry … that the scan or photo of your receipt is clear, that it hasn’t been previously submitted with a different entry, and that it shows the store name, the date and time of transaction, and that one (1) participating product has been purchased during the contest period. Or for the essay that it is an original composition of at least 100 words.
Reasons for rejections may also include, but are not limited to: (i) fails to pass anti-fraud detection system; (ii) is unauthorized, fake, not from a participating store or has been illegitimately obtained; (iii) contains any messages, or other markings not recognized by the administrator; (iv) is illegible, unreadable, not in focus or blank; (v) has been previously used; (vi) does not include the Participating Products or they were not purchased during the Contest Period; or (vii) is incorrectly or incompletely entered or submitted.
Participating Products are subject to availability and must be any Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, or P’Tit Québec Cheese Product
You may enter up to ten (10) times per person or household. As well, there is a limit of one entry per household per day. That means if you have a second receipt (or a receipt with more than one participating product) or a second unique no purchase essay, you must wait at least 24 hours before trying with that second receipt or essay from the same household.
If enough participating products for more than one contest entry are purchased on the same receipt, that receipt may be submitted more than 1 time in a separate online transaction. The receipt must contain enough purchased participating products for the number of additional submissions in order to be valid each time. You must wait at least 24 hours to submit that receipt again after your first submission. For further clarity, if a receipt is used multiple times, but does not have enough participating products for each submission, only those initial submissions up to the number of participating products will be considered valid.
Please ensure the scan or photo of your receipt is clear, and that it shows the store name, the date and time of transaction, and the one (1) participating product that has been purchased during the contest period. If your receipt is too long you may fold the receipt such that the key information is still showing (store, date and location, and participating product).
Reasons for rejections include, but are not limited to: (i) fails to pass anti-fraud detection system; (ii) is unauthorized, fake, not from a participating store or has been illegitimately obtained; (iii) contains any messages, or other markings not recognized by the administrator; (iv) is illegible, unreadable, not in focus or blank; (v) has been previously used; (vi) does not include the Participating Products, the correct number of Participating Products or is not during the Contest Period; or (vii) is incorrectly or incompletely entered or submitted.
As indicated in the rules and regulations, the contest end date is August 8, 2026. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Saturday August 8, 2026. Entries submitted after the Contest Closing Time will not be accepted.
The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry.
